Dr. Lee Obias Tan was featured and recognized in the commemorative video celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (UP PGH-DOVS).
Dr. Tan was highlighted among the distinguished alumni and luminaries who have paved the way for establishing and expanding specialized eye care and developing academic Departments of Ophthalmology across the Philippines.
As the founder and first Chairman of the Bicol Medical Center – Department of Ophthalmology, as well as the Head of the BMC Eye Center, Dr. Tan’s dedicated leadership continues to champion subspecialty eye care, residency training, and community health services in the Bicol Region, continuing the proud legacy of service and excellence fostered by UP PGH-DOVS.
